The Remote unit can interface directly with SeaGauge color displays for "instant-on" dashboard or with other compatible NMEA 2000 units like chart plotters/sonar units. The Remote unit transmits sensor information using both standard NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 sentences.
SeaGauge Remote N2K can both generate and read NMEA 2000 PGNs - creating a instrumentation hub for display of vessel data from multiple devices. Two Serial/USB ports allow bridging NMEA 2000 data to SeaGauge Color displays for easy viewing in sunlight.
The Remote unit can operate stand-alone with our vDash application to provide a complete virtual gauge cluster and data logger for you PC/Laptop/PDA. It can also interface with other NMEA 2000 compatible equipment.
