is a multi-function digital instrument sensor box that replaces mechanical instruments and gauges in
automotive/RV and boat electronics applications. Now get digital
instrumentation display of a variety of performance parameters such as
TACHOMETER, RPM, OIL
PRESSURE, ENGINE TEMPERATURE, TRANSMISSION PRESSURE, BOOST PRESSURE, O2, FUEL
PRESSURE,
FUEL LEVEL, VOLTMETER, MAIN and AUXILIARY
BATTERY, and much more all in a compact sealed
design. vGauge-Remote
will replace existing instruments and gauges
on most vehicles without having to rewire or replace sensors.
Uses Bluetooth technology and NMEA 0183 formats to transmit gauge readings to
remote displays,
laptops and
PDA's.
vGauge-Remote
is based on advanced microprocessor design that
combines data acquisition and USB interfaces to collect and transmit
sensor data to remote display and storage units. Mount
vGauge-Remote
near in then engine bay and attach sensors directly to
built-in terminal panels. Up to three USB ports then transmit
real-time instrument data to remote display heads or a PC/Laptop
using small diameter USB cables. For wireless option, purchase the
USB based Bluetooth module and view gauge readings up to 300 feet
away.
vGauge-Remote
is ideal for custom engine applications where display of
tachometer, engine temperature, oil pressure, fuel tanks, and voltage for each
engine is accomplished one compact unit. Additional screens can be added in
multiple locations to show transmission fluid temperature and pressures, turbo
boost pressures, fuel pump pressures, and much more - all with a single USB
cable. An optional serial-to-USB interface module allows displays to be located
several hundred feet away using standard CAT5 networking cable
vGauge-Remote
microprocessor control and reprogrammable memory will
allow you to create up to 16 custom instruments by using user-defined sensor
calibration tables. This unique feature allows you to custom design to match
your vehicle instrumentation system using the supplied vDash application.
vGauge-Remote
can transmit gauge readings via built-in
USB ports or wireless Bluetooth connections to your laptop or PDA for
real-time display and data logging. NMEA 0183 integrated instrumentation
sentences ($IIXDR) ensure compatibility with on-board equipment. Gauge readings
can be transmitted and displayed on other NMEA 0183 devices.
vGauge
can also decode and display NMEA 0183 sentences such
as depth and GPS information. Bluetooth wireless connectivity allows a
laptop or PDA to receive data up to 300 feet away. Optional software for
personal computer or
PDA (PocketPC 2003) is available for display and real-time
data capture. The Bluetooth wireless capabilities allows the unit to be
installed in the engine room while display heads can mounted at multiple locations without running additional wires.
vGauge-Remote
can be programmed to match you existing
sensors/senders. Simply attach to a computer or PDA via USB cable or wireless
ports - and download a text file to recalibrate
using supplied vDash program. All display values are user
programmable by typing values in any text editor and downloading to the device.
Unit can be upgraded in the field without removing from the dash. No matter what
your current sender/sensors are currently installed -

can adapt.
vGauge-Remote
utilizes a ABS plastic case and
conformal PCB coating to resist moisture and corrosion. Built-in terminal blocks
accept standard 0.25" terminal lugs to provide secure connections for all
sensors.
vGauge-Remote can be mounted on any
engine bay and take the punishment. Extensive testing in harsh environments has proven
durability and function.
vGauge-Remote
is compact in size, big on function. Up to three tachometer or speedometer
inputs will interface directly to most engine pickups (Inductive, spark coil,
alternator, VDO generator, and more). Two integrated K-type thermocouple inputs
provide direct connection to Exhaust Gas (EGT) and Cylinder Head (CHT)
temperature probes. An additional ten analog inputs can be used for a variety of
instruments including temperature, pressures, Boost, wide-band 02, voltage,
Amps, and much more.
vGauge-Remote
includes built-in data logging directly to USB memory stick
or attached PC/Laptop. All 16 instrument parameters including user defined
labels and time tags are written directly to attached memory device at
programmed intervals from twice per second to once per hour. A typical 4G byte
memory stick can hold up to three months of continuous data logging.
vGauge-Remote
interfaces directly to optional vGauge Display heads
to provide a complete instrumentation system with the ability to easily position
displays in multiple locations. Optional USB to Serial modules can drive up to
three separate display heads several hundred feet away.
vGauge-Remote
supplies power to each display so all
that is needed is to run a single small diameter USB or CAT5 network cable.
vGauge-G12
has been used in a variety of marine/automotive/and
industrial applications to replace larger mechanical gauges in a fraction of the
space while providing improved accuracy made possible by digital
